1.0 GENERAL

This policy on the processing of personal data (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Cryptoskat ApS (“CryptoSkat”, “us”, “our” and “we”) collects and processes information about you.

The Privacy Policy applies to personal information that you provide to us in connection with a purchase from and use of software from CryptoSkat or an inquiry regarding one of our products, or that we collect through CryptoSkat’s website, www.cryptoskat.dk.
By ordering or purchasing services and using software from CryptoSkat, you also accept our Terms and Conditions, to which reference is made. By accepting our Terms and Conditions, you also adhere to our Data Processing Agreement, cf. our Terms and Conditions appendix 1. In case of discrepancies between our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions for you as a purchaser or user of services or software from CryptoSkat, our Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

Cryptoskat ApS is the data controller for your personal information. All inquiries to us can be made via the contact information listed under section 7.

CryptoSkat’s Privacy Policy is available on our website in both a Danish and an English version. The Danish version of the Privacy Policy takes precedence in case of interprative doubts.
2.0 WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT, FOR WHAT PURPOSES AND WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING?

When you visit CryptoSkat.dk, we automatically collect information about you and your use of CryptoSkat.dk, such as the type of browser you use, the search terms you use on CryptoSkat.dk, your IP address including your network location, and information about your computer. In addition, CryptoSkat’s Cookie Policy applies when you use CryptoSkat.dk.
2.1.1
The purpose is to optimize the user experience and functionality of CryptoSkat.dk, as well as to conduct targeted marketing, including retargeting via platforms such as Facebook and Google. This processing of information is necessary for us to pursue our interests in improving CryptoSkat.dk and showing you relevant offers.
2.1.2
The legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
2.2
When you purchase a product or communicate with us, we collect the information you provide, such as name, email address, phone number, payment method, information about which products you purchase, and information about the IP address from which the order is placed when the order is placed on CryptoSkat.dk.
2.2.1
The purpose is for us to be able to deliver the products you have ordered and otherwise fulfill our agreement with you, including being able to manage your rights to complain, as well as if necessary, to contact you regarding relevant information about the product you have purchased. We may also process information about your purchases to comply with legal requirements, including those regarding product withdrawals, bookkeeping and accounting. When purchasing on CryptoSkat.dk, the IP address is collected for the purpose of pursuing our interest in preventing fraud.

The legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
2.3
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect information about your name and email address.
2.3.1
The purpose is to pursue our interest in being able to deliver newsletters to you.
2.3.2
The legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
3.0 RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA
3.1
Information may be disclosed to external partners who process the information on our behalf. We use external partners for, among other things, technical operation of systems and improvements of CryptoSkat.dk. These companies are data processors and process data under our instructions and as data controllers. The data processors may not use the information for any purpose other than fulfilling the agreement with us, and they are subject to confidentiality regarding this information. We have entered into written data processor agreements with all data processors who process personal information on our behalf.
3.2
Some of these data processors, such as Google Analytics by Google LLC. and Meta Platforms Inc are established in the USA. The necessary guarantees for the transfer of information to the USA are ensured through the data processor’s certification under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, cf. EU General Data Protection Regulation art. 45. To the extent that we use other data processors than those mentioned, which are established outside the EU, this will always be done in accordance with valid transfer guarantees.
4.0 YOUR RIGHTS
4.1
Right of access
4.1.1
You have the right to request information from us at any time about, among other things, what information we have recorded about you, the purpose of the registration, which categories of personal data and recipients of information there may be, and information about where the information comes from.
4.1.2
You have the right to receive a copy of the personal information that we process about you. If you wish to receive a copy of your personal information, you must send a written request to info@cryptoskat.dk. You will be asked to prove that you are who you claim to be.
4.2
Right of rectification
4.2.1
You have the right to have inaccurate personal information about yourself rectified by us. If you become aware that there are errors in the information we have registered about you, you are encouraged to contact us in writing so that the information can be corrected. You will be asked to prove that you are who you claim to be.
4.3
Right to erasure
4.3.1
In certain cases, you have the right to have all or some of your personal information deleted by us, for example, if you revoke your consent and we do not have another legal basis for continuing the processing. To the extent that continued processing of your information is necessary, for example for us to comply with our legal obligations or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, we are not obliged to delete your personal information. You will be asked to prove that you are who you claim to be.
4.4
Right to restriction of processing for storage only
4.4.1
In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal information restricted to storage only, for example if you believe that the information we process about you is not correct.
4.5
Right to data portability
4.5.1
In certain cases, you have the right to receive personal information that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and have the right to transfer this information to another data controller.
4.6
Right to object
4.6.1
You have the right to object at any time to our processing of your personal information for the purposes of direct marketing, including the profiling that is carried out in order to target our direct marketing, as this processing is based on our legitimate interests, as stated in section 2.1 and 2.3. If you do not want us to use your personal information for direct marketing and profiling, you should delete your cookies, as mentioned in section 5.1 below.
4.7
Right to withdraw consent
4.7.1
You have the right at any time to withdraw a consent you have given us for a given processing of personal information, including for the sending of newsletters.
4.8
Right to lodge a complaint
4.8.1
You have the right at any time to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Copenhagen, about our processing of your personal information. Complaints can, among other things, be submitted by email to dt@datatilsynet.dk or by phone at +45 33 19 32 00.
5.0 DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA
5.1
Information collected about your use of CryptoSkat.dk in accordance with section 2.1 will be deleted according to CryptoSkat’s Cookie Policy. The cookies that CryptoSkat itself provides are deleted no later than one year after your last visit to the site, while third-party cookies have varying expiration dates. The individual expiration dates are listed in CryptoSkat’s Cookie Policy, where you can also read more about how to delete your own cookies when you want to.
5.2
Information collected in connection with purchases you have made on CryptoSkat.dk, cf. section 2.2, will in principle be deleted just over 2 years after your purchase, when the right to complain about the product has expired.
However, information may be stored for longer periods if we have a legitimate need for longer storage, e.g. if it is necessary to establish, assert or defend legal claims, or if storage is necessary for us to comply with legal requirements.
5.3
Information collected in connection with your subscription to our newsletter, cf. section 2.3, will be deleted when your consent to the newsletter is withdrawn, unless we have another basis for processing the information.
6.0 SECURITY
6.1
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent personal information from being accidentally or unlawfully destroyed, lost, altered, or deteriorated, as well as to prevent them from being disclosed or misused by unauthorized persons.
6.2
Only employees who have a genuine need to access your personal information in order to perform their work have access to it.

8.0 CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

If we make changes to the Privacy Policy, you will be informed of this on your next visit to CryptoSkat.dk. The revised Privacy Policy will also be published here with the indication of a revision date. If we make significant changes to our Privacy Policy that significantly changes our practices for personal data protection, we may also notify the customer in other ways, such as by sending an email or by posting a notice on our website and/or social media, before the changes take effect.
